Dr. Keila Martinez was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez. Dr. Martinez attended Tuskegee University, where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May 2020.

She has two dogs, a Chihuahua named Mimi Chanel and a Greyhound called Coach Fritz. Dr. Martinez speaks English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys hobbies like knitting, crocheting, and cooking.
